Like the S8 model, it comes with multi-room smart mapping and can distinguish between laminate, carpets and hardwood flooring with high-pile rugs. And, if you want to cut down on time, it will skip mopping in rooms that aren't filthy. If you have a wide range of flooring in your home and don't want to invest additional money for a Roborock with advanced mapping features it is an excellent option.

7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking to find a multi-functional robot vacuum and mop that is able to handle both regular daily maintenance and touch-ups on wet messes, this little robot is an excellent choice. It comes with a variety of features that include a self-emptying dustbin, a separate dock for refilling water, as well as adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It is surprisingly quiet and easily moves around furniture legs or socks. It can't pick knots in the rug and its battery drains quicker than other models we tried.

Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal, which have water reservoirs that can automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
