Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are increasingly adept, passing our tests of cleaning and tackling different types of floors. Look for models that let you choose between several modes, utilize their charging docks to automatically empty, and clean up stairs.

Many of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Look for an application that lets you save schedules, maps and select cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum that mops vacuum and mop combinations on the market. It uses lidar to navigate, create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set up schedules and modify the S1's behaviour.

The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which has flooring in the kitchen, dining room, and bathrooms and a medium-pile and a large rug. It was able to drive close to walls and even over thresholds that are raised without issue. However it was a bit difficult navigating down the stairs in one go. The S1 also did a great job cleaning hard floors by dragging its mop effortlessly on its flat side against the floor and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or rugs.

The S1's docking station automatically empties its trash bin and fills its water tank on board with clean, ozonated waters prior to every mopping session. The dock also adds a cleaning solution into the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1's tank of water holds enough water for around 12 cleaning sessions before it has to be cleaned, although this can vary based the amount you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires periodic maintenance to keep it working well. It is necessary to regularly wash out the dirty tank to prevent it from becoming clogged. It is also necessary to clean the swivel wheel and sensors frequently to avoid them from getting clogged by dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 is easy to maintain, particularly compared to other models that require more hands-on maintenance.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-1 robot mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a powerful option for cleaning requirements. The Ecovacs robot vacuum comes with 8700Pa of suction power and comes with a variety of unique features, Best Robot Vacuum and Mop including voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and eliminates obstacles. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mops actually lift the floor and scrub it, rather than just moving a pad across the surface. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station when needed.

This robot hoover and mop combo has an easy-to-use interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand-vacuum that can be utilized to clean those difficult to reach areas that the robot can't reach. There are two water tanks which are automatically emptied or filled. It has a variety of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is an excellent vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction that is able to easily pick up dust and debris that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also decent, but it can get stuck on small area mats and rugs in my home (which you can mitigate by defining virtual boundaries in the app). Its mopping is quite good robot vacuum as well, with two spinning mops that actually lift and scrub floors, as opposed to simply dragging the pad over it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station when required. Mops can also be refilled at the top of the station when required.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. However, their latest flagship model is packed with impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-off maintenance, making it a clear contender for our best robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush will ensure an efficient, custom-designed clean is accomplished.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing fine and large debris from hard floors as well as carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests well while avoiding pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping performance of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush which automatically extends to reach hard-to-reach areas, and mop pads that run across baseboards.

Its navigation is smart it can navigate through narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without missing a step. It can easily move from one room to another without reversing direction, which is a handy feature for homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than the ones of other competitors, and leaves a huge space over obstacles. This can result in missed spots.

The app is streamlined and intuitive interface that will be user-friendly for both new and experienced users. The app allows you to plan and manage cleanings, alter the suction power and mopping settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and much more. You can control it via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You'll need a stable Wi-Fi connection in order to operate it via the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 Pro

A robot vacuum does an excellent job of removing dirt and debris but it's not always able to get every last particle of dust. It's essential to clean your home often, at least once a week. This is especially important for dust that builds up in corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot that was designed to accomplish exactly that. It's easy to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and is compatible with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your routine of cleaning.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the company's more expensive S-series models. It includes the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It uses a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on price by eliminating mopping and using a cheaper plastic body.

The Q5 is still one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping robots we've seen in this price range, even though it's not equipped to wipe your floor. It's got a powerful suction power of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, which means you don't need to empty the bin manually every time. It has a smart app that lets you schedule cleanings and choose the floor type. It also comes with an automatic hoover water tank filling system and washing system for hands-free operation.

Its mops are also awe-inspiring with 2700Pa of power to tackle dust, dirt and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots that we tested that did not have a problem with high-pile area rugs and carpets. However, it was able to not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't a surprise as it doesn't contain AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the most quiet robovacs that we have tested, it also uses a unique system to map your home. This allows it to get into places that other vacuums cannot reach. The device also stores dust in a larger dustbin which means you need empty it less frequently. It also has washable filters which further reduces the expenses associated with using the device. The robot can recognize carpets, and boost suction when needed. The app also allows you to mark off areas that you want it to avoid and is a great feature.
