The Best Item Upgrade Tricks To Rewrite Your Life
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrading gear increases its stats base and often boosts its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations can be applied.
The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capability in PvP or provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the original version that is not upgraded.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll a purchased item like an armor, weapon or rings. This swaps the current item for one similar item, with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an economical method of upgrading equipment. They don't maintain the original Best item upgrade's level and any wasted resources aren't rewarded.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens through several means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to change the attribute of a piece equipment, for example increasing its damage.
Players can roll equipment with three categories: physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks while spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player an additional amount of health.
There are three kinds of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, Best Item Upgrade while rare upgrades require a special or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
Unlike other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays in the space until the next successful result is to be rerolled. This is a way to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened they show a complete description and icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. Blueprints can be exchanged for new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.
During the course of a game, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to the choice of Franchise Cards. This affects which blueprints the restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that increase the level of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. In addition, players can get these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click on the "level up" button. The menu will appear showing the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires just one blue or green Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the requirements are satisfied, the user can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. Based on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and does not impact the longevity of the item. This is a great way for players who want to get an edge in combat, but don't want to spend a lot of money. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item to a new piece of gear.
The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for players who are new to the game. There are a variety of ways to acquire these stones, such as contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the effectiveness of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It is accomplished by adding upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade components and grant the item a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in the area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is reached.
Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon beside their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components don't stack with each other, but can only be added to a single item at a time. Each upgrade component will require an amount of items, as well as a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the first is where players can add an item to be upgraded, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. When players have enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.
An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item has reached its maximum level, its upgrades will no longer be available for it. Once a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to provide an additional benefit or bonus while the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted, obtained by completing quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs that can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
Upgrades to items allow players to increase certain stats of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on the item type, but typically you'll need Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
The upgrade items can be used to make set pieces and weapons for extra effects or a higher level of the item level upgrade. These upgrades can be gotten from various sources in the game, including through crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an item, it can't be removed and substituted without restriction, however the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped without restrictions.
Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components have additional modifiers that can enhance the stats of the item.
For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense, and adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. The DPS "Wildfire", however increases damage from weapons.
Certain items are better off being upgraded less because of their improved stats, but because it allows players to gain the maximum amount of value from a perfect roll on the item upgrades. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance, is highly valued by melee PvP communities and can be worth as much as 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
When you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item, the game will display an in-game window that lists the required requirements. This includes the type of item (either Weapon or Armor), the tier of that item and the upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
The game will add an item level upgrade in your inventory once you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how far you are to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
