Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the stats of a piece of gear and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available.
For instance, the top shield for racial discrimination Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more marketable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll an item you have acquired, such as a weapon, armor or ring. This allows you to swap the item for a different one of the same type with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an efficient method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't retain the quality of the original item and any resources that are wasted will not be refunded.
Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors through several means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates or bought at the local store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attribute of an item for example, increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll their equipment into three categories three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
As opposed to other tokens or markers placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the spot until the next successful result is to be rerolled. This allows you to not waste upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the start of every preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by grasping them. When they are opened, they show a description and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's store will exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
In the end, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls, and those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that boost an item's level by increasing its stats and abilities. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear, players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click the "level up" button. This will display a menu that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being upgraded and the required amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires just one green or blue Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, he can click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level a certain percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is completely risk-free and does not affect the Best item upgrade's durability. This makes it an ideal way for players to gain an advantage in battle without putting a strain on their bank accounts. New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets players increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It's done by adding upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be used up and the Best Item Upgrade will receive a higher level. The process will continue until the item is at its highest level.
Items that have upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components cannot be stacked with each other, but can only be added to one item at a time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a certain number of items to be used and an initial level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add items to be upgraded. On the right side, previews show what the gear looks like at its next level. Once players have enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item has reached its maximum level, its upgrades are no longer available for it. Likewise, once an item is on the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be put into armor, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to provide an additional bonus or effect while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped with new ones. Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components come with additional modifiers that could further improve the item's stats.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense and adds an extra 20% chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire", however, increases weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players when they get the perfect roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and can be worth as much as 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.
The game will highlight the requirements when you select the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. These include the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) and the level of the item, the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
The game will add an item in your inventory once you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how far you are to getting the upgrade completed. You can also check on the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
