World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of certain numeric stats on armor, weapons and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as Crit chance and damage from PvE.

For example an item with the upgrade template ending in % will take on an attack damage of 3% each time it is upgraded (relative to its previous value).

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases as the item's level rises.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be put into weapons, armor, and trinkets in order to provide an additional stat boost or effect while they're in use. They can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from vendors, trading or looting. Some upgrades have special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into equipment that has a slot to accommodate them. The item must be at a minimum upgraded to blue level in order for the component to be applied. Unlike other mods, upgrade components can only be used once and cannot be applied multiple times or replaced with upgrades. Infusions and Enrichments are type of upgrade component that is used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or ascended equipment, as well other items that are not ascended. Enrichments and Infusions can be obtained by salvaging ascended equipment or completing a mission in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade may have a prefix or suffix, modifying the name of the equipment with which it is applied (for instancethe "Canthan Armor Insignia" becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost the Mark Level or Rarity of an item, which lets players to create stronger versions using fewer upgrade crystals than they require to achieve the same level with normal methods.

A boost upgrade can alter the attack or defence attributes of an armored weapon or. Once the player has completed the cutscene and defeated the Crazed Mechanist, these upgrades can be created at the Portative Forging Station. These upgrades can be purchased by purchasing them in the cash shop, or by getting them from enemies while upgrading other equipment.

Each upgrade increases the chance that a better-quality version of an item will be available during the next reset. This gives the player an incentive to keep improving their equipment, even if they're unsure of the extent to which it will improve following a subsequent reset.

The process of upgrading an item could be costly and it is likely that the item will eventually become obsolete or even break when the upgrade fails. Upgrade Crystals and assist powders are also destroyed if the upgrade fails. This is reduced by the availability of cash shop items to double or even eliminate the chances of failure, as well as a few upgrades that give an additional benefit when they are inserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to upgrade the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets that are specifically designed for. Glyphs boost the power of nodes within a radius, including any pre-existing attaches. Glyphs can be upgraded many ways, and we recommend getting them to level 15 as soon as possible.

In the final game, you will often find that the Best item upgrade way to improve your equipment is to use Glyphs. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded straight to level 15, and they provide a large boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to climb higher nodes more quickly.

The majority of upgrades in the game can be replaced however, Glyphs are only the one upgrade component that can be removed and put back in place without any restrictions. The only exception is legendary equipment that requires an Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and then re-install.

Each Glyph has a specific range of values that it can improve a stat by, and the value is shown when you choose the Glyph in your inventory. You can decide to replace it with a Glyph of the same rank, or a higher rank, which will increase the value of the Glyph.

There are Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of a Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain gathering tools that are unlimited-use, and through Faction Crypt raids. Each Faction Crypt could drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have the desired Glyphs then you have to put them on your equipment. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus which will boost the stats of a particular set of nodes in a radius surrounding the Glyph. Based on the Glyph the bonus will be +40 to one of your primary stats or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Glyphs increase the number of nodes connected to them, which is why it is best to place Glyphs in key locations on the Graph. This will maximize the impact. Druids for instance should put their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They may be able to place them near their primary damage nodes.

Leveling

The system of upgrading items lets players increase the stats of certain items by placing upgraded components in them. This is known as "upping". Each upgradeable item has an amount that determines the final stats. Upgraded items can be upgraded up to a maximum of 385. Each level requires a different number of components to reach and the costs for upgrading increase as the item gets leveled up.

Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained by completing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or found on the upgrade tab in a crafting table. Each completed Upgrade Recipe yields a number of Technology Points. These points can be used to level up the item, and when enough points have been earned, the upgrade will be claimed and the additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When the player upgrades an item, the base item is replaced with a different item of the same kind. The same armor can be transformed into a weapon or a shield when upgraded. The new item also comes with its own set of bonuses. This could be a drawback, as it can cause the item to become more expensive, even if you don't require it.

If the player has enough tokens they can roll item upgrades. The item will be replaced by a brand new one that has a level 1 basis and totally different bonuses. This can be beneficial but it shouldn't be done often as it could waste resources.

Certain upgrades can boost their value and allow players to personalize their equipment. An excellent example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an advantage when a player is repeatedly in and out of the water (or is able to swim like dolphins). It is possible to upgrade it several times, each time increasing the max roll by 10 points. This item upgrader mod is very valuable in PvP. A properly rolled version can be worth up to 50x the value of the non-upgraded version.

Requirements

The ability to upgrade items allows players to increase the quality of their equippable equipment--armor, weapons, and trinkets that are above ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate items and currencies to an item upgrader (simply click Fewpal) NPC. Upgrading armor set pieces will also increase the base defense of the item, and upgrading weapon items will increase the base damage as well as the required strength and dexterity to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements.

All items can be upgraded a maximum of five times, with the exception of hero gear, which can have eight upgrades. Each time you upgrade an object, it has a chance of failing. The failure rate increases when you exceed the maximum number. Failures will cause the item to revert to its original state, which will force the user to spend more money on materials than they would have to had they stopped upgrading at the maximum number of upgrades.

If an item isn't upgraded, the experience bar in its growth bar will be reset to zero. The item also loses any bonuses it earned like the chance to crit, attack damage, or additional effects (such as increased heal over time, or reloading speed). The player is able to use their weapon or armor after the failure.

When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from the lowest to highest. This means that if a weapon receives a crit chance boost that it will be applied prior to any attack damage increases. Slots is a brand-new attribute that was added to item definitions. The value is recalculated each time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is based on the rarity rating and number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading equipment that is not premium is equal to its value. For example, a common item might have five upgrades for a price of. 25600 Technology Points 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items have a lower cost per upgrade.

Premium items might require different upgrades than regular gear. For example they might require less sowels, but they will require more minerals and orons. However, players will need to visit the NPC [ArmorBoboko in Central Flarine. Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they want to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade cost mentioned above, each equipment upgrade requires the use of different upgrade ingredients.
