9 Lessons Your Parents Taught You About Item Upgrading
Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide
Item upgrading is a key component to maximizing the potential of your gear. It lets you add additional stats to the value of your item's base level.
Each upgrade template comes with a set options which can be changed via the GUI. These options include the upgrading reference and the chance to upgrade.
Upgrade components
The process for upgrading weapons, armor and other equipment in Cyberpunk 2077 has been reworked as part of the 2.0 update. Upgrade components can be found all over Night City, and the item you wish to upgrade must have an upgrade slot available. When you select an item upgrade to upgrade it will show an overview of what the expected stats will be following upgrading, along with the necessary component or item needed. If you don't have the necessary level of material or component needed to upgrade an item, then the button will read "Blocked."
Weapons and armor can be upgraded as well as some trinkets and gathering tools. Upgrade slots can be filled on any item with upgrades that give bonus attributes or other effects when the equipment is used. These upgrades can be obtained through crafting, bought from a vendor, looted or acquired as an incentive.
There are two kinds of gemstones and universal upgrades. Universal upgrades, which are similar to gemstones can be put in any type of equipment and offer a smaller bonus than other types of upgrade components. They are easy to acquire by dropping them by enemies and robbed all over the world. Gems, on the other hand can be gained by disassembling items or by completing certain missions.
Upgrades can be removed and replaced by new ones in the slot of the weapon. However this will cause the destruction of any previous upgrades. Other upgrades, with the exception for glyphs that can be added to gathering tools cannot be removed from an item once they are inserted. Infusions, which are placed in ascended equipment and legendary equipment, and enhancements are only removed using an upgrade extractor or by salvaging the item using a high-tier salvage kit, can be replaced at least once every hour.
Recycled Items
In the two World Wars, the depletion of natural resources pushed the world to recycle. Nowadays, it is commonplace to recycle items like paper, aluminum and plastic, giving them new life as something different. Recycling actually saves energy and keeps carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere. It's also a good way to avoid landfills and conserve natural resources. It is essential to know what items can be recycled.
Many people make the error of placing the wrong items in the recycling bin. These items will not only contaminate recycling equipment, but can also contaminate the stream. To avoid this, read the label and follow the rules of your recycling program. For instance, cardboard should not be mixed with steel or tin cans, and tissue needs to be put in the garbage. Plastic bags can also become entangled in recycling machinery and should be disposed of at the grocery store to be reused. Containers for food and berries are also items that can be thrown away. Glass is the only exception, as it is a great material to build with.
It's important to check for the label "Made from recycled content" when you are looking for new products. This indicates that the product is made from recycled materials from other products that have served their intended purpose. This makes them a more sustainable option than new items made from virgin materials. Besides they are considerably less expensive than new ones.
It doesn't matter if it's an old tablet, phone or computer, you can recycle these items by bringing them to an recycling center. They will reuse this material to create new electronics and useful products. You could even earn money from these companies by donating old ones.
If you want to help your coworkers to recycle, you should consider coordinating the colors of bins and signage in your office. This will reduce confusion and encourage participation. You should also designate an area within your office for recycling for example, a central bin or a box located in the breakroom.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens give you a second chance at rolling the dice for higher stats or cooler powers. These tokens can be found in the mistery box, as an uncommon drop from skulled creatures or killed bosses. Each token takes one attribute point from damage, and randomly transforms into a new attribute. You can also use the token to roll the extras on an item, such as regeneration or speed.
The extras on an item increase with each level, however the amount they boost varies. The value of the extra is calculated as a percent of the total stats for the item. Rerolling a token can change this value. In addition, the recycle value also increases with each upgrade item. The value of the item upgrades's primary stat increases by a factor of 3 each time it is upgraded, but the value of the extras may differ.
Click the dice icon beside the item you have in your inventory to reroll it. You can also press the button in another lobby of a player and choose "Reroll". After rerolling an item, it will disappear from your inventory.
You can buy rerolls and other items in-game from Sagbe, an in-game Token Shop trader. You can also earn free rerolls by redeeming active codes in Fire Force Online. These codes can be redeemed to purchase a variety of items including Reroll Tokens or Clan Reroll Tokens.
Rerolls are useful at the beginning of the game, when you are building up your inventory. However, they're not the Best item upgrade method to boost your character's stats. You should instead focus on gaining more skill points. You can also earn bonus points by completing the event tiers.
You can also change your character's race by purchasing an reroll token for races, which can be purchased through the Zen Market. This token allows you to change your race at any time and can be redeemed through specific packs or through the Token Shop. It can also be redeemed as a reward for finishing Meg's cases during the Port Sarim invasion event.
Leveling
The process of leveling an item during an upgrade process boosts its power level and stats. However, it increases the cost of upgrades and requires an amount of materials to complete the process. The kind of materials needed will vary based on the specific item. Weapons, for instance, utilize a combination of Destruction Stones (DS) and Guardian Stones. Armor uses Harmony Leapstones and Shards. The addition of additional materials can boost the chances of success, but it's not a sure thing.
The leveling process is calculated by using an algorithm that determines the amount of damage, magic attack (magic weapons) and defense an upgraded item will get at the next upgrade level. The formulas vary depending on the type of weapon and rarity. Additionally, there is an upper limit for each type of gear.
The NPC will display an Upgrade option when the item upgrades reaches the maximum level. This allows players to upgrade the item to the next level by combining it with experience. To make the most of this process, players should make sure their gear is fully leveled prior to trying an upgrade. This way, they can save time and money that could have been better used for other upgrades.
The NPC will display two lines while the upgrade is underway. The first shows how many Tech Points the upgrade will offer, while the other displays a preview of what the item will look like when it reaches its upgraded level. The preview will not be accurate for items with modifications, but it can still give an idea of what to expect.
The NPC will display the cost to upgrade the item. This will include the cost of Technology Points, if applicable. If you own an Accelerator, it will also show its cost. Accelerators are available on the Exchange. They increase the Tech Points gained from an upgrade by 50%. However this bonus doesn't affect the item's Quality Chance which is resets once the item reaches its mark level.
The Upgrade NPC also offers an option to transfer gear. The Upgrade NPC will also offer a service for gear transfer. This lets players save their experience and progress on a particular piece and transfer it to a new item in the same slot. This is helpful for players who want to upgrade their gear but do not have the currency to buy a new set.
