It's therefore prone to become stuck on shoes and socks, and it couldn't navigate through rooms with a lot of people well in our tests. It's still a good deal for those whose home or office has a lot of bare floors and you want to save some money. Additionally, it's quiet and you can use it when you're at work or going to school. The robot vacuum and mop combination is sleek and has a circular look that looks much like a Roomba unit than the boxy models from the rivals. It's among our most appealing looking robot cleaner vacuums. iRobot’s latest flagship model is also its smartest. It comes with advanced features like Enhanced Dirt Detection as well as future compatibility (another company’s robot that can wash mop pads autonomously).
It's the only robot vacuum/mop that scored a perfect 10 in our testing due to a mix of high-tech sensors that include cameras, a structured lighting system, and multiple lasers. The X40 Ultra was the only robot we tested that could refill and empty its basestation in a self-contained manner.
