The Most Successful Item Upgrade Gurus Are Doing Three Things
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the performance of a piece of gear and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations applied.
For instance, the top shield of racial violence Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to buy a new item, like an armor, weapon or ring. The item is swapped for one similar item and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable method of upgrading gear. However, they do not retain the quality of the original item, and any wasted resources aren't refunded.
The surviving players can acquire reroll tokens in several ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on an item, such as increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment in three attributes that include physical power, magical power, and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage that melee and weapons and spell power improves rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player an additional amount of health.
There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item upgrader to a better quality. To create them, you require a higher level token for rerolling. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an Best item upgrader that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on Action spaces The reroll marker is left on the space until the next successful result is rerolled. This helps you not waste upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of every preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by pressing on them. Once they're opened they show a complete description and icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's store for the amount of coins.
During the course of a game, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on the choice of Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls, and those that are in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons and armor, as well as accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones which increase the level of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. In addition, players can get these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item then click the "level up button". This will display a list of the item's current level and what it will become after being upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires just one blue or green Growth Stone.
After deciding on the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. After the player has met the requirements, they can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could take anywhere from seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is risk-free and does not impact the durability of the item. This makes the system an excellent method for players to gain an advantage in combat without straining their accounts. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded item to an entirely new piece of equipment.
The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for new players. However, there are many ways to acquire them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Additionally players can break down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an optional feature that lets players boost the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will use up the upgrade components and grant the Best item upgrade a higher level, granting the item a boost in the area. The process will continue until the item reaches its highest level.
Items that have upgraded stats will display an icon of blue next to their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components do not stack with each other, but can only be added to one item at a time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a particular number of items to be used, as well as a minimum amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right side, previews show what the gear will look like at its next level. When players have enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small amount. The maximum level of an item upgrader is 19.
Once an item has reached its maximum level, its upgrades will not be available for it. Likewise, once an item is on an upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to that track will come with discounted prices.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons to give an extra effect or attribute benefit while the equipment is in use. They can be bought through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, except for glyphs, which can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
Upgrades to items enable players to increase certain stats of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item differ depending on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium as well as a number Upgrade tokens.
The items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to equipment and weapons. This will give them extra effects or an increased level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can increase the Best item upgrade's statistics.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun", for example, increases base defense and adds an additional 20 percent chance to block. The dps "Wildfire" on the other hand increases damage to weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but they are not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players when they get a perfect roll. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.
The game will show you the requirements when you select the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will put an item in your inventory after you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show how close you are towards completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
