How to Replace an audi a1 key fob G28 Engine Speed Sensor

1. Engine Speed Sensor
The sensor is located at the edge of the transmission just above the flywheel ring gear, the G28 Engine Speed Sensor sends a signal to ECU pin T55/49 via an uncolored wire. The ECU then uses this information to control the flow of fuel, timig and boost. It also sends an indication to the G5 Tachometer located in the instrument cluster.

Testing is a bit challenging as there are two different pins for the connector and they serve different purposes but the best way to test it is to measure the resistance between the sensor and the ECU. 2. Injectors
Yesterday, as i was accelerating off the highway paytoll at full speed I noticed a significant reduction in power. It was like the engine had run out of gas. Or my injectors weren't firing. I took out the spark plugs this morning, 3 were soaked in gasoline, and the 4th was dry. When i crank the engine with no sparks i put tissue on top of each injector hole and the 3 drenched with gazoline jump out but the 4th stay shut. I checked the ground connection of ECU pins 14,30, and 48/55. I found 0ohm. So i assume the problem is somewhere else.
I also tried to reset the PID without success. The car is able to start when the G28 is disconnected and runs fine when it is connected but it still has intermittent misfire issues at higher RPM. The temperature sensor for the coolant (G62) shows the wrong temperature of -49c, even if I unplug it. Also i noticed that the gauge for oil pressure in the cockpit shows 2 bar, whereas the actual pressure is 0.0 when i rev the engine.
I don't know what to do. I feel like i've pretty much eliminated everything else. But i am afraid I may have missed something. Please let me know if you have any ideas! TIA!
3. Fuel Pump
The fuel pump in the g28 receives a signal from the RPM sensor. The GM-style transmitter is identical to the G4 sender, and both operate on the 80,100,200, UrS, and RS2 vehicles. It is easy to find an extra in a wrecking shop or a parts store. Test them out by putting your DMM in resistance mode and measure the resistance between pins 1 (with the bump on the connector end up) and 2 (2nd from left on the black end of the connector). They must be infinite ohms.
4. ECU
The ECU in our 20vt turbo (3B AAN ABY) engines needs to be aware of the speed and position of the crankshaft to make decisions regarding fuel injector timing, etc. In order to do this it makes use of a Crank Position Sensor (G4) and an Engine Speed Sensor (G28). If you are experiencing issues with either of these sensors, the diagnostic scanner will display codes that could lead to the engine shutting down.
A failing G28 sensor could cause an inaccurate speed counter for your gearbox or a gearbox that shifts faster than normal, or a misfire in the gear. It is possible that the sensor is failing and needs to be replaced if you encounter any of these symptoms. The good news is that they are very affordable and readily available, especially in the case of the Bosch unit like ours. Alternatively, GM's version of this part is an excellent choice.
5. Tachometer
A faulty engine speed sensor could be the reason behind many issues with your car. This sensor could cause the transmission to malfunction and other components of the car to be affected.
The G5 engine speed sensor is situated on the edge of the transmission, above the flywheel ring gear. It sends a signal to the ECU at pin T55/49 through an uncolored wire.
